Organization of Economic & Social Support for Afghans (OESSA)

Strengthening Communities, Transforming Futures

Organization of Economic & Social Support for Afghans (OESSA)

is a nonprofit, non-governmental, and non-political humanitarian organization established in November 2022. OESSA is registered with the Ministry of Economy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan under registration number 5692. The organization is led by a team of highly qualified volunteer professionals with strong academic backgrounds and extensive experience working with international NGOs and the United Nations system.

OESSA is dedicated to supporting the most vulnerable and underprivileged members of society, with a particular focus on marginalized households at the highest risk, including those headed by women, children, and individuals with disabilities. The organization strives to empower these groups through income-generating activities and sustainable livelihood programs. Recognizing that poverty eradication is impossible without ensuring equal rights and opportunities for all, OESSA places women and girls at the core of its initiatives.

At OESSA, we believe that strong communities are the foundation of a resilient and prosperous society. Through our livelihood programs, social support initiatives, and capacity-building efforts, we empower vulnerable individuals—especially women, children, and those with disabilities—to lead independent and dignified lives. By fostering economic opportunities, education, and social inclusion, we help communities break the cycle of poverty and build a sustainable future. Together, we are creating a stronger, more self-reliant Afghanistan.

At OESSA, we are committed to creating lasting change by empowering individuals with the skills, resources, and opportunities they need to build a better future. Through education, economic support, and community-driven initiatives, we help vulnerable groups break barriers and achieve self-sufficiency. By investing in people today, we are shaping a future of hope, dignity, and resilience for generations to come.
